Theiss brings more than 25 years of industry experience
to growing global construction & logistics company
Montrose, CO (Dec. 11, 2018) – San Juan Construction, a global construction and logistics company providing building services for the U.S. Department of Defense, recently named John Theiss as president and chief executive officer of the company.
San Juan Construction (SJC) specializes in large, government construction projects for the U.S. Navy and Air Force in remote, logistically challenging locations in the Pacific and Indian oceans. The company has offices in Colorado, Hawaii, the Philippines, the Marshall Islands and Diego Garcia.
Theiss brings more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, much of which was focused on public infrastructure construction projects and federal government contracts. He spent five years as vice president for Nab Construction, a New York-based prime contractor specializing in government project. He also (include experience in addition to Nab)
Prior to joining San Juan Construction (SJC), Theiss was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP where he built a substantial construction industry practice. While at Dorsey, Theiss served as the company’s outside legal counsel for nearly 10 years.
